Make music, not war

Turning weapons into saxophones

Adolphe Sax & Cie, the Belgian saxophone builder, will create a limited edition series of 193 saxophones from melted artillery shells.

"And they shall beat their swords into plowshares..."

Under the name Sax4Pax we will create a limited edition series of 193 saxophones from melted artillery shells. Artillery shells are made out of brass, the basic material for saxophones.

From December 2018 till January 2019, a national collection campaign will be organized to gather artillery shells for this project.

The artillery shells will be recycled and turned into new sheet material.

"Make music, not war."
